Meet Army Veteran Mark who got his own apartment and needed a list of things to make his house a home.

The VMC got to work - finding all the things on his list including some warm bedding, towels, coffee pot, flatware, dishes, pot and pans, a clock, house cleaning products, food and personal care products.

He was excited to walk away with an Army sweatshirt & hat! We love when we can go above and beyond expectations and give our heroes exactly what they need. Mark was so grateful, and we couldn't be happier.

Mark, thank you for your service. Glad you can brew up as many cups of coffee as you want now... God Bless you sir! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²οΈ

Meet Jonathan. This young Marine is doing it all - attending school and raising a young family. We were able to help him with diapers, wipes, cleaning products, as well as some food to hold them over until the next grocery trip.

Jonathan, you are amazing. You are going to go far! Your initiative and motivation reminded us why we do what we do here at the VMC. Talk about a pick me up for the week!

We are still connecting families just like Jonathan's with the resources they need! If you would like to donate, click and share this link:

"This is what 70 years of marital bliss looks like" Ed shares with us. "I loved her then and I love her still 70 years later."

Ed, WWII Vet and his bride Rose stopped in to say hi and find a new winter coat for Rose. They picked up a few snacks to enjoy after all their visits. On Sunday they renewed their vows and shared their love with family and friends. Congratulations Ed and Rose, may you celebrate many more. "Love in your 90's is a good as your 20's," Rose told us on their way out the door.

We love this! Here's to spending every day in love...
